Chuck Iken Co-Owner, President ciken@musicimc.com

Chuck has been in the music business for nearly 40 years. He has a vast knowledge of the music business, especially in ordering music and musical instruments. A graduate of Ashwaubenon High School, Chuck attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and plays Bari Sax and Keyboards. An alumni of the Green Bay Packer Band, Chuck has performed with numerous national entertainers including: Johnny Mathis, Lou Rawls, The Manhattan Transfer, The Temptations, The Four Tops, and Bob Hope. If you are in need of finding a piece of music, an instrument, or accessories of any kind, Chuck is your guy!

Steve DeVillers Co-Owner, School Sales, Road Representative sdevillers@musicimc.com 

A Green Bay native, Steve graduated from Preble High School. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a BM in Music Business. Steve attended Yamaha Sales Mastery seminars at Yamaha corporate headquarters. During the day you will find Steve out on the road making his daily stops at area elementary, middle, and high schools. In his free time, Steve plays trumpet in many local musicals and music groups and enjoys summer weekends on his boat in Door County. He is currently manager of the Green Bay City Band.

Randy Derge Co-Owner, Senior Repair Technician rderge@musicimc.com

Randy has been repairing instruments for more than 30 years. Over that span of time, he has experienced and corrected just about every repair situation imaginable. He is well connected to the band instrument repair world and an active member of NAPBIRT (The National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians). He enjoys working on all instruments, from entry-level maintenance work to professional “tweaks,” modifications, tone-hole leveling, key-fitting and pad work. Rebuilding saxophones is his strength and passion.

Erich Rusch Co-Owner, Repair Technician, Road Representative, IT Manager erusch@musicimc.com

Erich is originally from the Cambridge/Fort Atkinson area. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he graduated with a B.A. in Music and a Psychology minor. He then attended Southeast Technical College in Red Wing, MN for Band Instrument Repair, graduating in 2001. After graduation, Erich found his way to Green Bay to start his career in the music industry.  He has been working in the music business ever since where he has become a go-to person for various jobs in the store. Erich has headed up many projects at IMC to help achieve new goals and improve day to day operations at the store. In his free time, Erich enjoys going to Packer games, music concerts and other area sporting events. Erich’s main instrument is the Tuba.

Pat Scasny Store Sales, School Sales, Road Representative pscasny@musicimc.com

Pat retired from teaching in the Green Bay Area Public Schools in June of 2009 and began working at IMC in August of 2009. Pat’s 34 year career included teaching band, orchestra and general music at the junior high, middle school and elementary levels. Her first teaching position was a Summer band program in her hometown of Hartford, WI. Pat attended the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and graduated with a BME in Instrumental Music Education. Her main instrument is the French horn, and she has performed with the Green Bay City Band and the Silver Cornet Band. She currently performs with the Allouez Village Band and also at various area churches. Pat enjoys helping store customers and visiting the local schools as a road representative. Pat says, “Working at IMC has been great. I get to see former colleagues and help them, as well as former students. It is rewarding to see a former student come into the store and see that they are continuing their interest in music.” Pat loves to travel, shop and read in her spare time.

Kurt Risch Store Sales, School Sales, Road Representative kirsch@musicimc.com

Kurt graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in December 1978 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and, in February 1979, ran away and joined the circus. In 1980 he returned to Green Bay and taught Instrumental Music for 33 years at all levels in both private and public schools and has been featured as a clinician at the UWGB and St Norbert College summer music camps. He has helped to prepare hundreds of students for public concert performances and Solo/Ensemble Festivals.  Kurt has been the pit drummer for many musical theater productions at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, St Norbert College, and the University of Wisconsin-Marinette. He has played with a number of local groups including the Nia African Dance Group, the Green Bay Packers Tailgater Band, Green Bay City Band and community concert bands sponsored by UWGB and St Norbert College.Kurt works at Instrumental Music Company as a sales representative and also teaches private instrumental lessons. He still does substitute teaching as a band director and he is an actively performing drummer currently playing with his band: The Cougars.

Adam LeGrave Repair Technician, Social Media Manager, Lessons Coordinator alegrave@musicimc.com

Adam, a native of Green Bay, attended the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay for 5 years, studying concert and world percussion under Dr. Cheryl Grosso. Adam then attended Western Iowa Tech Community College, graduating in 2014 with an Associate’s Degree in Band Instrument Repair. Once returning home to Green Bay, Adam started working for Instrumental Music Company, honing his skills as a repair technician. He enjoys working on all instruments, but specializes in repairing and improving percussion instruments, and is available to assess school percussion instruments and make repairs at the schools. When not repairing instruments, Adam enjoys writing and performing music with a variety of groups in the Fox Valley. He also teaches concert and marching percussion to many Green Bay area schools. He’s currently the Percussion Instructor at Pulaski High School.

Kevin Baker Office Manager/Drum Instructor kbaker@musicimc.com

Kevin is originally from Pulaski, WI. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he majored in music. Kevin’s experience in the business includes four years at Musicians’ Repair and Supply and working for IMC since 2004. He has been teaching private drum lessons since 1997. Kevin has been a member of the regional cover band Boogie and the Yo-Yoz since 2002, serving as their manager, drummer and music director.  Outside of music, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, golfing and playing volleyball.  Oh, and he likes long walks on the beach…well ok, maybe short walks on the beach.

Jamie, originally from Pulaski, WI, is the newest member of the IMC team. Jamie is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay. She studied percussion under Dr. Cheryl Grosso and earned a B.A. in Music. Jamie enjoys performing with many area music groups such as the Green Bay City Band and the Pulaski Area Community Band. In her free time, she likes to do arts and crafts and play with her two dogs, Dax and Hank.
