Violoncello 2)Standard quintet instrumentation is provided along with optional violin 3 for viola, optional viola 2 for cello and optional cello 2 for bass. Your audience will probably first recognize the Rondeau by Mouret as the theme from Masterpiece Theatre. The contrasting styles of these two movements complement each other wonderfully to make a satisfying program, but either can be performed separately.
